Even if High Roller were trimmed and American Eagle was not, HR would still win. The trains make such a difference. The first two drops in the back seem to last forever while having some inches of float room with the restraints, and the bunny hops are extraordinary.
AE is mild airtime, and restrained in your seat pretty heavily. It's a great woodie, and of course the turnaround is better than HR's, but even though it's got height and speed over HR, HR just has more class. More fun. You'd probably agree if you rode it. You like woodies so much that you'd appreciate it.
Then again, HR probably wouldn't beat your #2 spot...... haha that baffles me... [B)]
It's a hometown thing..... the more you get to know a ride, the more you enjoy it. I bet if you lived in Gurnee (and went to the park every day like I do), you would get bored of Raging Bull and V2, and spend all your time on the rides with more class, like American Eagle, Whizzer, Demon, Iron Wolf, Viper, etc.....
