Would you be interested?

Okay peeps, would you be interested if me and TConwell made a wooden Twister competition? We are asking whether we can run one but i dont know if we would be allowed. Please answer whether or not you would be interested and whether you would enter.

i'm always ready for a contest. but if i join is the question. Normally i would join but when i got allready 3 contests to work on. Then i would skip it.

Well, for all those that may wonder ... folks would be given some time to work on this, like 6-8 weeks or so. We would rather see some awesome inspirations, versus stuff thrown together on a whim due to lack of time.

especially witht he template he's making. lol. You need ages to make a decent ride in it, because its going to be really difficult apparently! Anyway Dirk, the comp doesnt start till after new year, and ive got the monster comp to build for aswell, so you will be given time. Please enter if we get permission, the more the better. I have sent an email to GFA to ask, he will hopefully have replied in the next day or so.

that sounds like a great idea i enterered one contest but lost the template! i was sad.... but i would love a wood contest that i could spend my time on so yes i think it is a very good idea to make a twister contese

This is TConwells site that he is going to use temporerily to host some of the stuff for the comp if we get permission.

Oh BTW it will be called the Mr Twister wooden coaster competition if we get permission to run it on this site.

Took some folks long enough to realize it .....

The template is quite big actually, from what i saw, have you edited it TConwell? It was quite thin the last time i had it, and i tried to make a ride in it, and my helix was just touching the side of the template, so i had to tilt it more to fit it in.

BTW TJ, i sent you the story, did you get it?

Yes but the comp probly wont be ready for people to enter until then. We still have to finalise everything with G Force Addict. Oh and to Real, it will be nice to see your track in it now TConwell said "it shall be bought", It will probly be an amazing track now!!!!!!

the round 2 is finished on 3th januari. So results and maybe a third round has to come first.
maybe the contest will start sometimes on half january or even later...

this comp sounds sick so far and im looking forward to a challenge [:P]

The template looks much harder but better now TJ, well done. The rules are also very good, and im glad you liked the story. I cant ait till we finalize everything with GFA, i will hopefully email him soon when i get the judges template from you. Cant wait! : )
