Would you watch YouTube videos of me opening up all of my "failed" or "in progress forever" rides, talking you through some of the design, showing some of the steps of design (the way I used to do it) and then giving an on-ride commentary? I was going to basically open up the "Reals Coaster Vault" but thought this may be more fun instead of typing it all out. I can probably tell you more in words a lot easier than through typing. Im not sure my words will be well formulated as they are when I type but that could be fun.

I was going to go, one by one through the oldest to the newest. You'll see EVERYTHING. Even the uber secret stuff I haven't shown much of.

If I never get around to finishing it, I at least want people to see the stuff.

There are 35-42 projects I could do videos on.

If its something people would watch and be interested in, Ill invest the time to produce them. If there isn't any real interest, I wont bother. Thought it might be cool for several of you who have grown up with the community and possibly for some who are new.

So basically what A113 did a while back? And yes, I loved when he did the videos and I'm sure I'd love yours. Seeing great minds work is very interesting and sometimes even helpful.

I was almost inspired to do this when A113 did it, before I realised that most really wouldn't care about my stuff. Also, I sound very common when I talk. [lol]

As for you, though, Real; go for it!

I don't remember A113 doing it, lol.

I just figured I had so many unfinished projects that I may never finish that it might be cool for people to see the rides and get some backstory.

LMAO @ Jakizle. That ride is just....so not up to standards anymore. But a lot of that will be explained.

Haha I just remember back on the NLDC...trenches and custom spine were so sexy and I've always wanted to ride it!

Just don't make it as long as A113's videos.

You were spared the pain of A113's links where he somehow takes about a 30 second ride FOR 5 love MINUTES and it was pretty painful (glad I can close windows lol)

That's where I'm debating how to produce it. I could easily go that long getting into finer details. I think it may be nice back-story, ideas, etc and then get on to the ride. Obviously a larger ride probably has more story to it and more of the track to explain.

I have had an idea actually to show people how I hand smooth and an understanding of how to work with the nodes and handles.

5min was the first number that popped into my head but I realized it has to be 5 min worth watching.

But none of that really hits here so it's okay.

A113's videos were good length. I liked the detail and explaining. Don't listen to CK for once. :)

I feel like I blitzed over it with really vague details...10min, LOL.

Only about 2.5min of me in editor going over things. Then a ride in front and back seat with a few views from other spots with various commentary.

Seriously don't worry about going in-depth...CK may not like it but I think many of us will. Besides, if he doesn't want detail, he can skip to the POV.

Looking forward to it, would be really interesting to see how others go about designing their rides.

The next few rides I will get into more of how I built it. This one is SO old that theres really nothing to go into. Having some issues with outputting this file. I normally work in mkv because I can get awesome quality/size ratios and even with scenes that move around a lot. Working on a second output.
