I just looked on...wikipedia...and rcdb and have now seen that Gwazi and Roar!'s coaster manufacturer have magically changed from CCI to GCI...

Which one is it?!

It ticks me off to have my roller coaster knowledge judged, i've known that Gwazi has been a CCI for 9 f*cking years now, and Roar! for 2 or 3 years!

Since they were built. Could you not tell the difference just by the track layout and style?

And you sure you didn't just read it wrong then realize it now?

If it upsets you that much, you can always change the Wikipedia article to still incorrectly say CCI, lol.

well tidus. They both are a GCI. But to my knowledge Roar and Gwazi always have been a GCI on RCDB... [:)]

Has anyone ever been on the GCI website? It is not in the renovation section, so obviously it was never a CCI...

Gwazi can be confusing because it is the only GCI without the Millennium Flyer Trains. One of the Roar's uses Millennium Flyers and one doesn't.

The only CCI that looks anything like a GCI is Outlaw (because it was designed by Mike Boodley and Clair Hain)....And no GCIs really look like CCIs.

Gwazi is amazing! ^It's easy to pick apart the people who have been on the rides they talk about.

One Roar has MF trains, the other has PTC. It's too bad that Gwazi has the PTC trains, I think they are making the ride rougher than it should be.

Yes, it is. I was able to ride it over and over again with no wait, and they weren't even running one side.

Ah.

I just got back from BGT...phew...what a day! I decided to pass on Gwazi (irony anyone?) because I already went through Montu twice, Kumba once, and Sheikra once...I was beat.

But wow, I just thought that Gwazi was styled so similarly to a CCI that I thought it was one for years.

And gerst...I saw the thing getting built from the ground up 10 years ago...I know about it more than you could EVER know. As well as Kumba, Montu, and Sheikra...don't test me lol.

Nevermind that you didn't know it was a GCI, even though it's pretty obvious to anyone who knows what a GCI is, given the layout, shaping and supports.

So what are you trying to say dcs?

What's your motivation for that response?

I was talking to CKid. But that's okay, as long as being a douche is what you enjoy doing!

And gerst...I saw the thing getting built from the ground up 10 years ago...I know about it more than you could EVER know.

Yeah. That's pretty obvious considering I know who built it and you just found out a couple days ago... But whatevvv genius.

His motivation is pretty clear. You know more about Gwazi that ANY of us could EVER know, and you didn't know the most basic fact about them until this week.

Great for backing up your cause, right?

I know about it's experience more than you could ever know. And I thought there was something about it that was GCI-ish...I just never caught on. I'm just more liked to CCI's than GCI's...even though i've never ridden a CCI apparently. They're styling and everything...way better than GCI, but the PTC trains were what kept me thinking it was CCI, happy I got corrected, everyone makes mistakes.

But I do know more about it considering i've been on it more times than you could ever imagine. I apologize if you were talking to CKid.

So please...for everyones sake...shut it, you've been a downer for months now.

I'm not the one acting like a dick to try and prove I know something about roller coasters.

But don't worry. As long as you enjoy what you're doing! Live and let live.

....genius.

Genius, i'm not saying that I know a crazy amount about roller coasters, I do have a life and such. But I am saying that at least for me, I have the upper hand on knowing about BGT, I live in Tampa for christ's sake, I go there quite often. I was not trying to be a dick, I thought you were and have been trying to be a dick...

Guess I was wrong...or was I right?

Never been on Gwazi or to BGT, and I bet after looking at some pictures and watching some POVs I could describe the experience in more detail than you can.
