It's been quite a few years since I last uploaded a track; far longer than NL2 has been out; so I wanted to return in a bit of style. The Cutback Contest seemed like the perfect opportunity to reintroduce myself to the old and the new, and get reacquainted with the tools. I've become obsessed with layouts recently, so I wanted to make a ride that looked good from all angles, and flowed together nicely; interacting well with itself and its surroundings. The product of this effort was Wyvern Blaze, a ride with several interesting elements, and one where the track near you is just as exciting as the section you are on. Yes, this ride has head-choppers. Lots and lots of head-choppers. It's styled as a kind of modernized Arrow, but with greatly faster pacing and a more compact footprint than the ride it was loosely based off of, Drachen Fire. Oh and the yellow train runs backwards. For fun.
