X Coaster Closed?

I've recently gone to Magic Springs/Crystal Falls in Arkansas and was very upset when I got there to find out 3 of their major roller coasters closed.
The X coaster being one of them, I have a question. The Park staff told me that there was an engineer fraud( basically no way to evacuate guests if they became stuck on the vertical lift hill). Now, I had a man who basically "lived there" (because he goes there like every day) tell me he was friends with the staff and he told me that someone(stupid) stuck his or her arm out while riding and it was cought on one of the supports and ripped off. Now this is just a rumor but I was wondering what is the real reason or does anyone know the real reason it is closed?
