oh, yes framus made wonderful guitars.. and they used to be had for next to nothing, untill about 1994-97 when groups i still maintain should never have been marketed towards the mainstream started being seen with them on 120 minutes, and later on heavy rotation on mtv.. hell before the infamous greenday video of 94 a gibson grabber or ripper bass were to be found at even the most knowlegeable shops for no more than 250..back then twin reverbs were stacked in corners for 300 bucks a pop.. chuff EBAY chuff em right in the ear! if it weren't for the exploitation of "alternative" music my world would still be a wonderful place and the g.p. would still be obsessed with the spice girls and brittany spears, which is what they deserve! (yeah i'm an elitist snob)
i'm pretty convinced that the one mr ried is playing in the video is a hagstrom
that's why you go with the korean guitars! Solid, and cheap. You could make a bunch of money if you stocked up on those twin reverbs if you could get them for 300.
i checked out those guitars and i agree with you, it's prolly one of those
