California is on fire again [:(] Today we have a nice frosty degree reading of 110. I wish I was at the 70 degree place jensen-nator is talking about [:(]

Hey, well maybe....even though I highly doubt, that Hurricane crawly up the west coast of Mexico will give us a little rain to help with the fire. I mean they usually do give us some rain, but I don't know anything about rain and heat and the whole rise and lowering in pressure.

But I can only pray that it gets better. I live down near where Santa Monica and Culver City meet, so I know I'm safe, but I can only pray for those that have already lost their homes and those that might loose their homes.

At least it isn't like last time, where the winds were high and blowing smoke all over So. Cal.

Nobody cares about your nice weather.[flush]

Know what I find EXTREMELY ironic? A lot of people say So. Cal has "perfect" weather, because of our Mediterranean Climate, but regardless of what season or time of day, it's like almost never consistent. Last year it was a late summer and and late winter. This year was a short spring, but nice (in terms of what spring should be over here) with a nice start in summer...but for some odd reason, God gave us plant life that can't handle the "all so wonderful", "California Heat". I wouldn't be surprised if next year turned out more messed up than last year, and last year was pretty bad, but you never know...at least not me.

My main question though is...what does Fall feel like in Cali. It's been so long since I have experienced a good all nice cool breeze with the cloudy skies and warm gentle rays from the sun. Sometimes I think only two seasons exist.

But hey, you know, summer is almost over, and even though the fires are kind of delayed (usually early august for this time of year, others being late spring and mid-late fall[practically winter, because
fall is like two days]) and thing is, that this is most likely the peak of the this year's heat issue.

And you know what? In two weeks will the perfect time for SFMM, because everybody just finished going, because of the start of school, and it's not October yet, so that means no Halloween Haunt crowd.
Sorry for the long post. Can't really go out. My friends are dead from me throwing them on rides all day at the festival. [lol]

So you can suck it if you don't like my rant.[stoning]

Yeah, isn't El Nino great? You burn in the summer, and then get ready to see nothing but mega-storm after mega-storm in the winter.

But ya, Ohio FTW, its in the nice mid 60's now. All you need to dawn is a jacket and pants and you...are...set.

Yay for ohio! WE HAVE CLEVELAND!!!!!

and Toledo

Oh ya, and Cedar Point

California, never been there. Why do you guys always have fires, I mean wouldn't you guys learn to stop smoking in the woods, and do it in the black dudes house???

Lol Jk Jk

Weather is funny, and it is also not.
Cedar Point FTW

108 at the moment over here. Should get a little higher though soon. At least the summer sun is starting to leave.. 115-120 is getting annoyingly old. My 2006 Chevy Cobalt... AC broke on the way to school this morning! POS car, and my first. I'm never buying a Chevy again though.

Well, it seems like about half of So-Cal is aflame now, after hearing the news updates. Good ol' Ahnold has declared emergency for 4 counties, and no rain is in sight.

Oscar, you have my sympathies.

It is currently 84 degrees in Albuquerque right now, but as we are 5000 feet in the air, the sunlight is particularly harsh, so it always seems hotter. I'd say it feels about 90 right now.

still better than 110, though. I don't know how you Californians cope. [:(]

Still, at least we New Mexicans share your fire woes. [:D]
