Me and my friends went to Drayton manor the other day, and had a great time, i recommend anyone who has not been to go someday as it is a great little theme park.
First off we went to go on maelstrom but it had broken down (just my luck), anyway we headed off to G-Force which we queued for about 20mins and got on. A brilliant ride and very original, we then headed for shock wave (Europe's only stand up coaster) and expected a huge queue but we only had to wait for the next train to come! A very strange sensation for all those who haven't ridden a stand up, next we went for some grub...
A few minutes and a bacon sandwich or two later, we headed for Apocalypse and after a very small queue, waaaaahhhhhhhhh, what horrible experience only the stuff of bad dreams, so we headed to the stand up version, double waaaaahhhhhhhhhh. After a bit of cool down we headed for pandemonium. My friend has a thing for pirate ships so we went on the new pirate ship, probably the best i have been on. Next off storm force 10, WET, WET, WET and guess what WET, we bought the poncho things which was a good choise as my phone probably would have been destroyed by the wet.
Next we went on the river rapids with no queue what so ever. we then went to a less well known ride in the park black revolver (essentially a waltz ride with the speed setting at overdrive, ouch... painful and nauseating and it lasted for about 5 minutes[xx(]). We then headed back to G-Force to find that the queue was now about 3 minutes long, so we rode it twice. But all this fun had two end as it was 5:00 and we had to get home [:(!]
All in all a great day and a brilliant theme park!!!
