Hercules is a Wooden Twister Coaster. As PCC's first wooden coaster it is packed with excitement, over 8450 feet of track making it the longest woodie in the world, and reaching a top speed of 78 mph making it the fastest woodie. You wont have time to think about whats next before you are zipping through unique elements like hairpin curves, s turns, steep drops, air time on top of air time, and head choppers PCC style. So keep your hands inside the car at all times and ride Hercules.
**I don't do custom wood supports but I did my best to make it look special. - clearances are extremely close but have been double checked. - exit platform did not work as intended and would be changed in real life.
I was not prepared for how long a ride this was, I couldn't believe how you managed to keep the pace til the end - incredible!
The drop out of the first MCBR was my favourite drop, riding along the MCBR toward the edge of the drop, with the view opening up in front of you, seeing you were about to be thrown back down into the mixing bowl.
Layout was great, a real mix of elements, and I loved that you started with a few fast paced bunny hops straight away - first time riders wouldn't know what had hit them, and would be giggling all the way up the lift. The layout never really let up at all, it just kept hitting you with fast pace element after fast paced element with only brief moments (the MCBRs) for you to catch your breath = super thrilling!
The ride has a quite massive capacity, and it would need it because everyone in the park would be queuing for this.
Your track is pretty much smack on and felt awesome to ride, so your technical score could have been huge - but I can't miss the fact that this ride needs SO much lateral bracing! I know you mentioned in the comments about the support work, but it really does need doing, the structure of this ride would fail on the high g corners. Your technique and realism scores will thank you a lot if you try to work on the support work in the future!
Really awesome ride, top notch, just let down a bit by the lack of structural work! Keep that sh*t up son!
Definitely a good ride! It had an unusual start that I liked very much! T. good tec. for shaping and G distribution only felt the support needed a bit more accuracy especially for lats forces. A good paste, fast and huge coaster make it interesting to ride! U. the layout was interesting but had few similar parts where the curve brake and drop became a bit repetitive. R. It has a realistic look and feel but I can not imagine this built in real life probably for the fact that was too big and expensive! R. The ride was fun but I think you could have presented better the entrance for the station: the insignia was half out of the station and the queue area was very simple and quite small! I always love a ride on a good woodie! thank you!
I can't really rate this, but I can say that the transfer track does not work properly. If you try taking out the train that is parked in the transfer track, it doesn't move back all the way onto the transfer track properly, and you have to reset the track. Another problem is if you use manual block, a train gets stuck on the second lift hill, which I don't really understand. Good coaster though.
Wow this ride was bad ass like Hercules himself, the name fits as the ride never let up and really packed a punch (more than once). There were a few yellow spikes but for a ride of this magnitude I was expecting those. Loads of air time and a lot of what next stuff at least for me so great job Plantoris and sorry for the delay (had to ride it again before this rate:-)
Technique Trackwork - Really good throughout. Felt smooth and well shaped. Only niggle was the turn before the 2nd MCBR wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the ride. Little things eh.
Supports - As mentioend, lacked lateral bracing but also lacked crossover bracing. This would've made your ride into a truly fantastic ride.
Scenery - Nice terraforming and texturing. The little area outside the station was nice too!
Adrenaline Pacing / Layout - This thing seriously never gav eup, I really enjoyed the ride throughout. Maintained speed whilst still having some great airtime. I'd have liked to see some more laterals in the ride - it felt very much like it was designed like a steelie. Laterals help to make the ride feel more out of control. There was one very nice lateral airtime hill towards the end however.
Forces - Good forces, arguable some slightly high positive and sustained G's in parts - but nothing really major in my opinion.
Uniqueness Layout / Elements - This ride had a very unique layout and had some great sequences. The first main drop was awesome.
Scenery - Good use of terrain to set your ride apart and the little area outside the station helped too!
Realism Other than the support work I felt that this ride suffered slightly in the realism section. it was probably a perfect fantasy coaster (provided you had better supports etc). It was probably a bit big to be realistically built and I think it would have suffered a great deal of wear and tear due to the positive areas on the track.
Spectacular high-speed ride on a beautiful construction. interesting landscape as well. As a noob, I can't say much concerning the realism aspect, but this was definitely a highlight in virtual coaster riding for me.
Technique - Excellent execution of a GCI style coaster, quick pace, some airtime. Adrenaline - Typical GCI coaster but with more speed. The extra speed saved your score for this section, since more speed = more thrills. Uniqueness - GCI with speeds above 75 mph is unique, but the layout felt "cookie cutter" per say. It was unique, but it felt like I had been on the ride before. Realism- Excellent execution of a GCI, station theming, and track pacing. Rider Value: A Good fast ride, but to a coaster enthusiast, the "cookie cutter" overhung the rider value of the ride.
- Technical - Lateral bracing.. You need SO much more lateral bracing for this ride to even be possible. The ride was pretty smooth and worked well with terrain. Man the supports killed this score. I'm not referring to the support scenery work, that was awesome
- Adrenaline - Lot of fun, awesome layout, nice G's. the ride itself was really fun and had awesome features
- Uniqueness - This ride had a feel to it I hadn't felt before. Idk how to describe it. The layout was nice, there were awesome parts and little rests where there should have been to allow for a breather and for more ride capacity. Nice job here
- Realism - What killed this score was the tech issues. Other than those I could see this ride being made provided the terrain was right for it
- Rider Value - The riders would love this ride and would ride many times, I'm sure it would draw a crowd.

Really the only thing that killed you was lateral bracing, and most of the issue spots were low to the ground and wouldn't have been overly time consuming to fix. This is why I try to avoid wooden coasters when I build lol. Fun nevertheless
I'm new to this rating thing, so I'll give it a shot. Hope this helps! Realism- This ride was pretty realistic. A few bumps and twists that don't feel too real were there, but for the most part I could definitely see this coaster being built. Technique- I love the layout design, so many high-speed twists and turns that you don't see coming from around other twists and turns! A few somewhat-high G-force spikes, but on a coaster like this a spike around 3.5-4 is common and it doesn't last long, which is nice. Adrenaline- From start to finish, this coaster was very intense. From high & low g-forces, to the fast paced twists and turns, this ride is an adrenaline rush! Uniqueness- This ride is definitely unique, so you get a 10. The way it hugs the terrain most of the time just can't be replicated on another coaster! Rider Value- Considering the fee to my local theme park like this "helpful info to rating guide" suggests, I would definitely head out just to ride this!
