BT: The track was very smooth, and I only noticed one pump leading up to the top hat. Your supports were pretty good, although the larger A-frame supports needed transverse beams. Tunnel test and E-stop passed. The main reason you lost a lot of points here is because there were so many collisions. I know that you were trying to create a savannah environment, but a realistic coaster can't have foliage or anything else protruding into the path. I counted ten collisions of which four were fatal.
A: This was a superbly-paced ride, and it never relented. I loved the mix of ejector air and intense inversions. I think the only thing that would improve this score is making the ride longer, because it was over rather quickly.
O: Your layout contributed greatly to this score, and it was a creative idea. You blended a good medley of different elements and made them work such that the ride had a good flow and a level of unpredictability.
T: This was a very good ride and I didn't see any spikes on the transitions or anything. Mabe its just me but there was somthing that didn't flo with the turns and transitions but I don't think it makes a large difference.
A: I thought the overall speed and g force on the ride was great... wold have had my heart pumping.
O: I was surprised on the originality... It was newer and fresher than most of the rocket coasters that are made.
This was a very nice coaster and it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I also liked the colors on the ride... It was a nice touch.
Dude, are you sure that you rode in the correct environment? There are no hits at all when you ride in "Hatari" Environment.
Also take into Account, that the new Intamin Trains (the ones with the OSTRs) are very well capabale of the tight radii. They don't have the hight backwall that the No Limits trains feature.
Maximum G-Forces on the Top Hat entrance are 5.3 on my computer for less than a 10th of a second... However, even 5.9g wouldn't kill you, nur would they hurt (given the period of time you experience them)...
T: Very smooth, noticed a couple of pumps though. Lats were actually very stable, didn't see anything go above 1.1 so that was great, especially through those insanely fast rolls. Vert Gs were good, no problems there. Supports were also good.
A: Def your highest spot. That ride was going above 45 mph the ENTIRE ride. That was absolutely nuts, my lord.
O: The serengheti (spelling?) theme was really cool. Weaving through rocks and trees that fast would scare the crap out of me. Very nice.
Great Coaster, great that you managed to keep your lats down while keeping the speed up. That ride was fast, REALLY fast.
Pretty cool track. Overall the track construction is really great. Smooth all over, g forces all within check etc etc. Supports looked nice too.
As far as fun goes, this packs quite a punch. Lots of quick turns, great airtime etc.
The one thing that really sets this track above others is the environment. While some of the trees looked a little odd, the overall feel of the environment was really nice.
Which also makes me ask, how did you place all of those grass objects? Or are those just 'trees' with the textures replaced?
The Good:
+ Buttery smooth. I couldn't feel any rough transitions or pumping throughout the entire ride.
+ Supports were good and realistic.
+ Adrenaline was excellent. The speed never let up, and I think this coaster would be a blast to ride in real life.
+ Great theming! The African environment is very cool, and it almost makes me feel like I am riding FarCry 2. You might have gone a bit further with the station, but that's all I can complain about.
+ Nice layout and cool elements. It is hard to make an original rocket coaster, but you have managed to do that here. Well done!
The Bad: (there really isn't much to say here)
- While it does enhance the theme, you could have let up on the grass just a liiiitttle bit. I have a very good computer, and even I was down to like 9 FPS on the launch and first few elements. Granted, later on it became fine, but it is something to think about...
- Needs a better cartexture! lol.
Overall Impression:
Great ride! As I said before, it is hard to make an original rocket coaster these days, but you have succeeded big time. Keep up the good work!
T: One small part where the ride didn't really flow, besides that it was pretty good. The launch out of the station isn't the safest idea because of roll backs and such. Supports were nicely done. Track didn't really pump at all either.
A: Very out-of-control type ride with its environment. Flying by rocks, swooping over water and in ditches. Great job here.
O: The way you did it is extremely original. Some other people have tried to take on this theme, but you pretty much nailed it. Amazingly done.
