It is with the greatest of pleasure that I may present to you, Blacktip!
The Blacktip Reef Shark, standing at 26 meters above the pier, winds around other rides, shops, and attractions, and whips riders around in all different directions, like the thrashing of a shark. Aggressive and constantly fast-paced, this Gravity Group hybrid shuttle doesn't let up. Riders are hurled around the track, heading in the typical forward direction, then come to the 24 meter tower that careens them back from where they came. A switch rattles riders onto a different set of track that winds around the first half, providing several moments of varying airtime, many head-choppers under the lift-hill supports, a few intense lateral inducing turns, and a helix before coming to the final brakes.
I do encourage anybody enjoying my park to have a walk around. Benches and other amenities have been placed to give a real park feel for the roller coaster, but if it can't be seen from the main ride, it wasn't fully completed. Notably, Zipp's Arcade is barren inside; not because they went out of business, but because I was running out of frames on my PC. XD
I hope you enjoy your ride on Blacktip! I would love to know what you thought of the experience.
What an awesome ride! Well done with the switches: I thought the train would stop but it actually kept moving which surprised me. Also the backwards layout was fun and surprising as well! I didn't see the inversion until the train passed though it and I was like Wait wut we're going upside down? Fun concept, great execution!
