count me in, I still haven't heard of results for the tight fit competition yet, however, and i would LOVE to know who won, last i heard staff was handling that so c'mon people i wanna know who won!

Yep, just like last year all coasters and templates are sort of 'tributed' to one of more coasters opening in 2009. It was always my favorite kind of tournament. And easy for the host, as you can just recreate a coaster and make the template around it, if you're lazy.

GCI's gotta be one of the rounds I'm sure. I'm wondering what other track styles will be used...Hmmm, hyyyper there aren't any repeat Design Styles from last year are there? (i.e. GG / Euro-Fighter / Intamin )

I'm guessing between a GCI, B&M Hyper, X-car and a mini intamin rocket like iSpeed being built at Mirabilandia. He did say rides like 09 coasters.

where did you get the idea of iSpeed being a mini rocket?
It's the longest one out there...
And, i don't think there's going to be a GCI round, there was one last year...

GG was used last year as well Vid.

Yeah, but IMO, it could be used again this year, becouse the style that was targetet last year was totally different than Fireball...
We might bothe be wrong, and there could actually be 2 wooden rounds, since there's not much to choose from this year...
- GCI
- GG
- B&M mega
- X-car
- Intamin launched (iSpeed, or the mini one at Terra dei Giganti)
- Mack launched (would have to be improvised a little)
- B&M flyer (we'd have to pretend that the Vekoma flyer is actually the B&M flyer)
- S&S launched (like ring racer, but that would be stupid...)
- Maybe even an Intamin mega, like SROS, but that's just being refurbished... Still counts as a 2009 opening tho...

I just realised that Prowler is a quite new version of GCI, so we might be seing something along those lines...
