Hi there,

during the last few days i got several online messages (mostly aim) by a few CC members which claimed to link to some pictures of said members. For example:

http://tripics.t35.com/

However this is only a signup page for some obscure network called "bebo". If you signup there, bebo can send all kinds of messages in your name via your aim account - basically hijacking your account.

I've experienced this before with a service called "ringo" a few years ago hijacking my msn account and sending all kinds of spam mailto other (back then) CC and CS members "inviting" them to ringo as well. Until i changed my msn password.

I would strongly advise AGAINST signing up there for said reasons. For those who already signed up there i'd strongly suggest changing your aim passwords.

Bebo is a myspace/facebook ripoff thing that's run by AIM. It in itself isn't harmful, but I'd guess the link isn't actually Bebo but rather a phishing site.

Yep, you're right. The link i posted above was given to me by jakizle, who went offline immediately afterwards. I got a similar link by ckwm a few days back. That virus thingy is possibly why he created a new aim account recently.
