Ok im working On a B&M Hyper Project (Python) if You look from top view The Station is Diagonal it goes into a small transport then into a chain. This is my problem Getting the Chain Straight with the Station and Transport Peice. I can not place it where it will be exactly Straight. Now the Make Straight Tool: It Straightens the last peice to make it straight but by doing that my station is messed up and if i straighten the transport peice my chain hill is messed up again. Anyone got a way to Fix This???

1.I would save the track.
2.hit new button.
3.construst a striaght life hill. (Doesnt need to be diagonal)
4.The save the whole thing as an element.
5.Insert into your track you working on and it should be diagonol.
Hope it Helps [:D]

Use math. Rather than just picking a random orientation, try to use a set proportion of lateral dots versus vertical ones from the top view. Using 1:1, 2:1, or 4:1 should cover it.

try the math way, and if that doesn't work, save it as an element

but what if youre building a bunch of hills in a row?

I just load up 2 editors. One if my editor for building hills (which, I just use newton or HSAK for since come on, theyre hills people) and the other is the "final" track. I just build the element on the straight line, save it, import and voila. I just keep movin.

Heres a technique i learned from jensenator (even though i don't handbuild)... place a free node near the beggining of the lift, then plance another where you want the end of the lift to be. then connect them with a support. leaves a nice straight line that you can place the track on. works great for hill sections too.

Yea, another good technique. I still use that for certain applications when lining things up. Its quicker and easier than numbers.
