Glad to find a site to upload/download rides! I sure have missed CoasterSims, and this site seems to have all the right things I've looked for in a coaster related website.

Be sure and download my version of the Cyclone at SFNE - I figured I'd better upload something, just to start off on the right foot!

I do have a question - are there any restrictions related to uploading-downloading-rating of coasters here? In other words, are we required to rate a particular percentage of the coasters downloaded?

You dont have to rate to download, how ever if you aren't a premium member you can only download 4 tracks a day.

Currently there are no restriction on download and forced rating to download more. However, we are considering this possibility for the future. Right now, as a non premium member, you can only download 3 tracks per day. If you upgrade to a premium account ( see the benefits of a premium account by clicking here ) then you don't have restrictions on downloading and there are many other perks you get as well.

The only problem with a forced rating system is.... less significant tracks would be downloaded a lot less.

Well, since I've got hundreds of track files, I will be selective when I download. I'm past the age of obsession over .nltrack files.

Thanks for the welcome. Now it's off to see if anyone liked my Cyclone!!
