flat beam supports.......huh?

howdy, hey i was wondering if anyone can help me out here.... i'm trying to build a custom support structure for a station.... the problem is that when i try to add the flat beam supports (to make a sort of wall around the underside of the station) i've found that the supports dont face the way i want them to on one side??? like instead of flat side out the appear in the sim thin side out , or in some cases in lots of directions..... how does one ensure that the suppoorts face the way they want them to? .... thanks......

If the nodes aren't lined up perfectly, then the beams won't be facing the same way. Try using snap to line them up perfectly (and it will also take a lot less time to make the supports).
