Thought I might post a more official topic for this ride here. I've now completed most of the 3ds landscaping for the area, including several tunnels and trenches. They came out much better than I expected, especially for my first time doing underground tunnels. I've also got a new cartexture done, which I think matches pretty well with the logo of the ride. One final thing, if anyone would be willing to create an alpha texture of the 'bamboo' tree that comes with NL for me, that'd be very greatly appreciated. Most of the ground the ride covers is made of 3ds, so it'll look pretty bare if I don't put any trees on it.

Edit: Nevermind about the alpha texturing, I got a free trial version of photoshop and did it there.

the track work and themeing look really nice but im just hoping you'll smooth out that terraforming :)

Very nice! scenery looks really good, and the trackwork im sure will be, as always, flawless... very nice job so far.

It's mostly 3ds, and that's much harder than regular terrain is to 'smooth'.

I managed to get the alpha textured trees done, but they have an annoying white outline around all the transparent area. Anyone know how to get rid of that?

yea, in Photoshop make sure when you do your cutting around the texture that you do NOT have anti-aliasing checked. Do the same when you create the alpha layer itself.
