i'm totally stumped

Where do you have to save the file? I saved it into my NL folder but I still am getting the same colors for gs.

The main folder (same as where the Simulator is located) is right. Are you sure it is the right filetype? it must be .cfg , a textfile won't work (for example what could have happened is that you made a nolimits.cfg.txt; this of course won't work).

ok, then thats the problem, except I don't know how to remove the .txt

when saving the file, therr is a drop down that says .txt or something in the save as dialog, well, click that and chose to save as all files then in the file name save it as nolimit.cfg and voila
