I need some help

Ok,I need to delete my account off my grandmothers puter(XP account),but when I go to delete it the computer freezes. [confused] Any other account can be deleled without this problem. This computer is no more then 4 months old(This is a Gateway,this computer has had probs since the day she got it) Can anyone help?

First a few questions for you:
1) XP-Home or XP-Pro?
2) Is the account Admin or Limited?
3) Are you logged in as Admin?

You might try booting into safe mode and logging in as admin to delete the account.

this is XP home.No one on this computer can delete the accounts,because it freezes no matter what account type.
