Yes they are. You need to do the slides in a 3d modelling program. You could use the Arrow suspended coaster to simulate the swinging.

I believe there is someone over on NLE that uses Object Creator to make waterslides.

^ Right. You need to use both OC and CK. You can also make it in SketchUp using that "follow" tool (can't remember the name) or in 3dsMax using loft.
