I just bought a MacBook, and am getting glitches when I try and start a coaster simulation on No Limits. The only solution is to restart the computer. Has anybody had this problem, or know of any fixes?

It goes through the creating landscape bar thing...but as soon as the simulation comes up it is like half black, and has random glitches on the screen. I can here the sound, but it does not progress from there.

Hmm sounds like your graphics card is suffering from the issues that have plagued the geforce 8 and 9 series in the past year. Try some other graphics intensive applications and tell me if they exhibit the same things.

Way to go. Everyone else who bought a new computer for the same price can do the same thing. Everyone is proud of you.

Thanks for bumping up an old thread...
-.-

Also, I get 100fps in NL, on a 9 months year Acer laptop, for which I paid 750#8364;...
You, on the other hand, paid at least twice as much, and got a corroded motherboard.
Nice one.

And another Topic is turning in to an "Mac VS PC" battle

Add:Vid_w: that you too get 100fps @NL doens't mean that your laptop is equal in ever task.

Here is the deal...I dont care what sort of PC anybody has, or whether you think PC v MAC is a great debatable subject. Yes,I bought a MAC because I was tired of my POS PC. Im not a computer nerd like some. But I do know this is a fantastic computer.
There ya have it. Lets not turn this into something that it clearly IS NOT.
