You know, if you think about it, the Mayans never predicted the apocalypse. Their calender tracks the rotation of the Milky Way Galaxy, meaning it repeats every 13,000 years. So, instead of counting 0-infinity like us, the Mayans counted 0-13,000 and started over.

So, if you're a Mayan, time has just reset and the year is 0.
