ok...I just tried the NL demo...and omg I was impressed. I have been played RTC 1, 2 and 3. I just like buliding coasters so I figured I would check out NL. My question is...were do I start? I can see it is way different than RTC building coasters. Is there a FAQ or a help page to get me going? It looks like there are alot of 3rd party add-ons. What ones do I get? Just need alittle help getting started.

thanks

First thing you need is to purchase the full copy of NL. Go to their website and follow the directions, it is a $25 investment in fun. Then, there are various tutorials, etc. within the program (and here and in other places on the web), that can help you on your way!

There arent any 3rd party addons, just 3rd party helpers sort of...
Best thing is to read the help manual that comes with no limits, it will explain about all the buttons and features

yes, any one big thing I should mention, before you post your first coaster in the exchange(if you ever do) be sure that its not off the wall, the G's should never go above yellow -good coasters stay in green 100% of the time- and alot of other stuff that you should know from RTC such as strait lifts, and properly supported.

One thing you should NOT take from RCT: Crappy transitions that would actauly break your neck (which RCT's G reader somehow can't pick up)

I would recommer after playing a while with NL to try some custom supports. If you can make some custom ones you can make a ride look WAY more realistic. And you can avoid stupid collisions because of the prefab supports... [:)]
