Newton 2 Friction Settings?

I have been having a lot of issues with Newton where the forces are extremely exaggerated. Even on wooden coasters I am having the problem. When I want -0.8 gs I get -2.1. When I want 3.8 gs I get 5.0. Is the default friction settings too high?

I even try to take it out of improved friction and it doesn't work.

Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

i had that problem too...i think the train has to much cars...so it's to long. Or perhaps you speed settings are wrong

15 mph is right. That can't be the problem. And a 6 train Prefab isn't a lot.

if you watch his tutorials it says that the friction settings for woodies are different

0.0195 works ok for woodies.

^^But the friction is too high. That is the problem. A wooden coaster should have more friction than a steel coaster yet, newton seems to be too high.

Dude, if you're going to ask, listen when you get told by those who know better....Wooden coasters, both in real life AND No Limits have LESS friction than steel coasters.

^he's right, that's becouse steel coasters have a much tighter wheelbase, so the wheels stick better to the tracks, with wooden coasters you have more room between wheels and track wich couses less friction then with steel coasters
