Welcome to operation 'Wingrider' cadets; you will be testing out the next generation of flying machine, and self launch technolegy

------------------------

Operation Wingrider is a concept Vekoma stingray, i thought of a few nights ago. It starts with a launch through a loop giving you some serious airtime followed by a course of tight twists and turns in a low to the ground aerial assault cource

Looks pretty interesting, I'll watch for this. What method are you using to build?

And yeah as Vid W mentioned, its a Raven Turn I believe.

More supports have been completed and for this coaster I am using 3ds flanges (and possibly footers).
-----------------

Here is the updated project page:

-----------------

Now for some user input; please answer these questions so i can make a better ride.(You will get Credit!)

  • Should the station be made in 3ds or supports?
  • Do you like the colour scheme (if no why?)
  • Should the pre-launch be enclosed in a building?

Let's get some acceleration Gs. Those are what you're gonna want to worry about and watch out for.

I don't understand how you can make a Flying Dutchman without getting more than -2+g, but that's just me. Looking good so far!

So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

It depends on whether they're positive acceleration g's or negative. Positive, they might be barely OK, but negative? That's prolly not the best thing, especially with Vekoma's restraint system. It's basically a backpack, but instead of a pack, it's a coaster train.

Yeah, but not negative.
4.5 positive is ok, but for negatives I really wouldn't recomend going far from 2Gs...

You're being difficult. Your forces hurt. They are uncool. It has reached a point where you need to understand that it is time to edit them to a safer level.

4.5 isn't awful but you still need to bring that down a notch or two. What are your negative accel forces?

You didn't.
But, you still didn't tell us how much force it does pull, which is what everyone's trying to find out since post #4....

Also, I don't think if the 4.5 Gs are positive, they represent a problem, with you lying on your back and all... Several coasters pull more, while being sitdown coasters...
