Parks won't show up!

When I try to ride a coaster that has 2 tracks, only one shows up. In the editor it shows it but when i go to ride it only one of those tracks shows up. How come that happens? do i need to install an update? if so, where?

In the game options menu, set the inactive track rendering to 'normal'.
