Hey, I'm pretty new to 3D Studio Max, but I already started making some objects like a .3ds terrain for my new coaster. What's the problem? Well, I have a grasstexture-bitmap, and I applied it to the terrain in 3DS Max. I set the UV-settings to "tile", so that the texture is repeated a few times. Now in the viewports, everything is looking perfect.. But once I export it to a .3ds object, and import it in NoLimits, the texture isn't repeated anymore, but stretched..

Is this a known problem, and is there a solution to this? Otherwise I'll have to go back to the OC..

For textuting in max you have to apply a UVW map modifier to the mesh, you can find it in the modifiers panel.

Then once you're done you have to collapse the modifier to the mesh and then it'll work. If you need more help. Feel free to ask.

You'll have to use "UVW Map" You can find it in the modifiers list
