What the hell. This is really making me mad. We know you're all the same person that keeps posting these "Hi" threads.

Staff, aren't you seeing like 1,000 members from one IP?

no, theyre different people.. look at the member number.. duhhh

if I would sign up again right now, I would have a different Member number. just because the member numbers are different, that wouldn't mean that they aren't the same person

but the numbers are all far apart if you look... if someone is that possesed to make an account every 1000 or so.. hmmmmm

That's weird though. Some of the people that are saying Hi (there's been alot recently) have joined like a long time ago. Like this guy joined in 2005...Why decide to say something now?

Because they cant download tracks without one post. So they say "Hi everyone!" and then they never say anything again. One post IMO is too little to be a requirement. I would make it 5 at least.

Post requirements for downloading is just plain stupid. How many new members do you think actuallly post something meaningful or worthwhile to get themselves the right to download?

I run this site, either you like it and abide by it, if not get off my site and go somewhere else, there, I said it plain and simple. Everyone has that choice here, they follow my simple requirements or they go elsewhere. Simple as that. There is such a thing thatyou were born with and that is the option to ignore stuff. You can chose to ignore these hi posts or you can chose to confront them and make a big deal out of them. I don't ask much from anyone and a simple hi is all I asked for. I am sure I could think of other requirements from members that would be less requirements of other download sites and would drive you crazy but all I asked is for a simple hi, really meant or just to stop being bothered that is all I asked for. You whiny people piss me off.

FYI Gerst ... C2K has the EXACT same thing! One post is required -- and that is not too much to ask for, in ANY ADMINISTRATOR'S opinion. If you ever become one, you may understand but as for now -- just relax and enjoy the fun. FREE fun at that!

I abided by that 'one post' requirement, didn't I? I understand that these sites have rules and that the existence of some of them can only be understood by staff, but as far as I'm concerned there's absolutely nothing wrong with sharing a little opinion on WWS.

There was not a single thing wrong with my post. I said that a site rule doesn't make sense to me. In disregard of how I feel about the rules, I follow all of them. That being said, I say this [confused] to why I got shot at. Please share.

im for the requirement, but how about a "say hi" or "get to know everyone" forum, just to uncluter the site form

Indeed there is a thread set aside for that purpose only. 'Tis a shame people ingore it and refuse to put it to use.

Wow, Gerstlcrazy provides me with a lot of entertainment on this website what with his various random outbursts for no real reason what-so-ever heh heh.

I think the post requirement thing is a really good idea tbh, even if it is just one. It could be a good step in the right direction towards entising more people to post on here
