Insert So after doing some browsing on some websites that I should have had my firewall and AV on instead of having them turned off due to some networking issue earlier that day, I ended up with a crazy thing called Antivirus System PRO. This is what it looks like:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-r ... system-pro

I have tried their removal instructions, tool and from other websites as well with no luck. Any of you have gotten this and been able to remove it? If so, your help is appreciate it.

Thanks,
Oscar

Like I said, I followed their removal instructions as indicated, which included the use of Malwarebytes and it hasn't worked. I ran it again and it came up clean... but that POS keeps coming up. System restore was comprimised as well! I can't restore to a past date. FAIL!

not sure if it will help with this particular one, but Microsoft Security Essentials found and removed the antivirus spoof trojan on my laptop.

My computer was prone to getting this virus.
The only solution that has ever worked with its removal is several deep scans with Spyware Doctor.
You can get a full version easily.. through torrents or whatever.

It's basically a new strain of the Antivirus Pro 2010.

Good luck.
If you have a PC and you're computer is backed up on an external harddrive, I would suggest using the hidden restore function in most desktops.
At the start screen as you turn on your computer hold down Control + F11 for a full restore.

I can't think of anything else helpful.
Good luck Oscar.

Ps) You should give me some posts back mi amor[:p]

Edit: Oscar the reason Malwarebytes won't work is because the virus blocks the installation of the program now, and if you successfully install it, it will block all access to it.

I f*cking hate that scareware crap. I remember I got Advanced Virus Remover on my computer. I got constant annoying popups and web re directions. It tried to block me from manually removing it, but some how I got around it.

Run ComboFix asap! If you still have symptoms, run Malwarebytes, Dr. Web Cure It, and ATF-Cleaner. Those did it for me.

[lol] Searching for a torrent is what got me this thing! No luck, I got it to stop popping up but it's still there though. If I reboot, it's going to be jumping up and down like a freaking terrier.

The little red circle in your tray?
Did you get the full version.

Once you restart after you've scanned with spyware doctor, and deleted those files it should be all good in the hood.

Well i dont trust any of that removal stuff and my virus scan had, for some reason, missed it and the only other way to get rid of it is to restart your computer, which i have had to do once before because of this. So because i didnt want to restart it i just unpluged it from the internet for 2 weeks and turned off my computer. Then i pluged it back in and turned it on and poof it was gone. And no i dont hate oscar.

Here's my suggestion, stop looking at CKMWMW Pr0n and you might not get this stuff, Lol jk.

Anyway, if all else fails, get a new comp or wipe your hard drive and reinstall windows.

I got that once, and Malwarebytes got rid of it. Keep trying, and update Malwarebytes?

Success! AVG came to the rescue! I hope it is fixed, so far no pop ups or anything of the weird sort. I'll let you know how it continues on.

My friend got that and that's what I did, I installed AVG and ran it. Bam, it's gone.
