DD as a Quidditch game would be so cool.

^ i like it as it is... but... i guess it could use more theming for the riders themselves..

It also said a "New state of the art attraction." Hmmmmm......

Remake of Poseidon?

oh maybe they're developing a new kind of coaster to simulate riding a broom... comfortably. so then it would be an awesome quidditch game! or riding a hippogriff, we'll never know.

until the area opens that is.[:p]

This was announced last year as a brand new project coming to Islands of Adventure. The section of the park will be 20 acres big, comparable to the other islands in the park. The new expansion will include a section of the lost continent (assuming Dueling Dragons) as well as an undeveloped area of land behind Jurrasic Park and Dueling Dragons. I thought that it was time for an update to this huge project, as it has moved on significantly.

First off all, the Dragons from Dueling Dragons have been removed! No one knows yet whether they will just be moved to a possible new entrance, or never be brought back again. Ebay, anyone?

Flying Unicorn has been closed for a while, and there is new Dueling Dragons entrance as well as a huge new building behind the Jurrasic Park entrance, kind of ruining the atmosphere of the trees and jungle. (seen below)

There's something lurking behind Jurrasic Park: Something HUGE and ungly looking.

Hopefully they will do something more to hide that building just a little bit.

Also, earlier in August, the Enchanted Oak restaurant was completely demolished. I assume this was for the new bridge that pretty much ran into the huge tree before it was wrecked:


So far construction seems to be moving along at a quick pace.

I was a fan of HP, but got bored of it when the 3rd movie came out.

I THINK I SAW A NO LIMITS simulator of a Quidiitch(broo game) ride. Interesting but possible if using a launched flying orintamin inverted for all those turns twistd and theming.

i think harry potter is preety boring they should do cirque du freak, or alex rider, or inkheart those are preety cool.

Yo they need to make a roller coaster about the BANK!! from the first movie. Would be awesome they could do a good job and a lot with it.

It would make a better dark ride Austin. Oh wait they already have a dark ride!

Anyways this sucks for me because I am headed to Orlando tonight and this is one of the parks I wanted to hit. Just to clarify, nothing is being done to the Jurrassic Park area is it?

No, theres just a huge castle behind the area now.. So you don;t really sense being in the jungle as much...
