I've never had success with splitting the launch. I want to see how it comes out, but is there any benefit to this "technique"?
It just leads to a smoother launch.

Flickstah, I think it's a cool ride as you've heard. Other sizable designer's agree as well, and that part that the kiddo of the site thinks is a straight section is in fact a very exciting part.

@dmillz: The acceleration is more accurate.
@Gerstl: Yes, I think that the transition into the overbank is really fun. Not too abrupt, but not too relaxed either.

I've tested the ride, Ckid; it's not a straight section. It's similar to the lead-in on Thunder Dolphin's Overbank.
