So I downloaded AHG, but whenever I open the program, it pops up like this -

Image

I can enter numbers into a few of the boxes, but can't load a track, heartline it, etc. I've tried deleting it and re-installing it but nothing has worked. I also can't close the program.

Has this happened to anyone before?

I had the same problem with Windows 7. You have to go into you display settings and change the text size to either smaller or larger instead of medium (default, at least on mine). It will ask you to log off. It's a pain in the ass but every time you need the AHG just switch temporarily and then change it back.

Thanks man, it works perfectly. You don't know how happy I am, I've been trying to do this forever. Thanks again!

Now that I actually have it working, I'm confused about all of the spine colors on the track. How do they work and how do I know which segments to be what color?

I found the tutorial, but it has no pictures so it's hard to understand. It also uses really simple elements like heartline rolls. I still don't understand which segments need to be which color.

Ahhh the comp. tracks are due today, any help would be greatly appreciated!

~Black (main track) forces banking to be absolute
~Green (main track) is for before black if the banking ends up wonky
~Red (main track) is for after black if the banking ends up wonky

The darker the red on the rails and tie, the more the filter will be increased for those segments

Experiment. Also, remember, if you give it crap, the AHG will give you back crap.

LOL! That is so dead on true. I used to think that it smoothed tracks when I first started using NL. And now I am finally not confused on what color went before one or the other, just colored whole segments black. The avatar says it all.

Thanks for the tips.

If you black out the try and set banking to 40 degrees, it WILL be 40 degrees unless you have a ridiculous torque or something beforehand.
