Boy Gets Stuck In Metal Partition At Knott's Berry Farm Soak City

There was a scare at Knott's Berry Farm's Soak City Monday afternoon when a boy got stuck in a metal partition.

The Orange County Fire Department says a 12-year-old boy slipped in a fun house maze, and his knee got stuck in a metal divider just after 1 p.m. Crews tried to use airbags to release him, but it didn't work.

Rescuers had to use the Jaws of Life to push up the metal and get him loose. The boy was freed without any serious injuries. He was released to his father.

The accident remains under investigation.

Maybe I didn't word it correctly. We know what a metal divider or partition looks like and is used for, but specifically what kind of divider did this kid get stuck in? Further, how did he get stuck?

Why is there a metal partition like that in a fun house or maze? Wide enough to see through and want to wander through, ruining the maze and/or the fun house trail, yet narrow enough to get stuck in all day?

Why is there a fun house in Soak City? Lol
