I don't know much about where you all stand with redstone, although I will be helping to judge a competition in the near future. It is hosted by a man on minecraftforum.net and will be run in a single-elimination bracket system. Contestants have three days to build a contraption to accomplish a given task, while complying to given restrictions, and the judges will decide who moves to the next round.
