I guess I'm the only one cool with it because I've never ridden a ride like this before and I get to ride it in April, haha.

Do you guys think it is at all possible that Tempesto/Diavolo/whatever it will be called could have a dual loading station like the same clone opening in Mexico this year? I hate to sound negative, but unless this ride has that or possibly a three-car train, the line for this ride will be horrendous.

I doubt it will be enough even if it does, especially if it does the 2-cycle pattern as well. I wonder if they are going to soft open without fanfare all together. It's really late in the game to not even announce a new ride is coming, let alone an almost finished roller coaster. Watch it open as an upcharge -_-

They haven't revealed much but there would be nothing stopping them from having a dual loading station and the double cycle ride. If Zombie Ride is new for 2015 and does it, then there's a good chance that this one will too.

Saw this on Screamscape. It apparently seems that the new coaster could possibly have restraint belts that go over the shoulders. Not sure why that's needed though, unless there's a brand new type of restraint system being used. Also, you can see the word "Tempesto" in the background, so if this concept art is legitimate, I'm locking Tempesto as my guess for the name.
2015 - New Roller Coaster / TEMPESTO or DIAVOLO - Under Construction - (2/20/15) A piece of leaked concept art for the new, and still unannounced, Tempesto coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg was posted to the ParkFans forum the other day. I don't know if this is a final or near-final piece of artwork, but the train style is interesting as the normally flat fronted Premier Rides train is shown with a decorative nose-cone. Even more interesting is the fact that they have added a pair of restraint belts going from the lap bar up and over each rider's shoulders. This makes me wonder if we will see a modified restraint system put to use here instead of using the standard lap bar only system.

There's also a biker in the shadows which leads me to believe that they haven't ruled out Diavolo as a name yet.

This sure is an interesting one. Now, back in the day, they used to do press releases pretty late in the game. Drachen Fire was barely announced when it opened. I wish I could get my hands on the old TV commericals they used to play for it though, with some dudes in knight's armor riding the ride and then some 90s teenager with a sword in the loading station hah.

IIRC Pompeii was a late announcement too. I think the internet was a major game changer in parks needing to do earlier press releases. As to why Busch has gone old school for this one? Who knows. Some people are speculating money, but I hardly imagine a press event costing next to anything when you compare it to their marketing budget. Who knows?

While I'm still waiting for the (never gonna happen) day that they building a coaster back on the old Drachen Fire site, maybe a Drachen 2.0, at this point, I'm just happy the park is getting anything new at all.

The name "Tempesto" has been confirmed via SeaWorld's conference call earlier today.
