I think so too, but if you see this video, the brakes don't come up. I'm a little bit puzzled. Perhaps there are sensors or so. I'm not sure.

Thanks, I already seen this video. It's strange that they don't come up. I think, I'll send an email to a park that have a Intamin LSM Launch Coaster. :D

If it wasn't important, catwalks would have been built to it lol.

I'll post the answers to a few questions from NLE:

Maximum height is going to be based on max elevation minus min elevation, otherwise the height restriction really wouldn't matter due to terrain.

There must be at least two launches, however more are allowed. A launch out of the station like cheetah hunt for example, would be perfectly acceptable.

Progress update.

While the track work isn't definite it will be very similar to this, but of course it will feature more terrain aspects in the final track.

^ I always love to see someone working on Intamin Megalite or Mack Launch to make that into a more thrilling edition, so let me comment. Hope that you'll get a pretty good position in the next round.

:)

Honestly it looks like slots to add more magnets in case they needed more, kind of like how some of the Intamins have those wing things on the side of the track to attach trim brakes that never got attached.

I say that with no sources to back it up though.

For anyone confused about the Cheetah Hunt brakes, I just found this video which shows them off perfectly. They work pretty much the same way as on an accelerator coaster...retract just before the train reaches the launch and then engage once the train has completely cleared the area in case of a rollback.

Coaster Count: 535 (114 wood, 444 steel); Park Count: 110
Top 5 Wood: El Toro, Voyage, Thunderhead, Outlaw Run, Boulder Dash
Top 5 Steel: Superman the Ride, Fury 325, Millennium Force, X2, Intimidator 305

^^^ Rcdude, not only contestants but all track creators also have to watch that sort of thing! :)

^ That's so good! :D

Edit: Had to add one more "^" to show my response to Rcdude. ;)

Well I was wrong lol. Nifty retraction system though. Thanks for the video RCdude.

Hopefully I can make decent headway on my track this weekend.

It hasn't come up here, but it occurred to Blase and I that we weren't quite clear on one aspect of the rules:

Built-in tunnels (those that come with the game) do not count as terrain interaction. The only tunnels that will count as terrain features will be custom tunnels made to look natural (such as a rock tunnel or cave).

If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

I have read the rules again and I failed :D I use the Mack Launch Coaster instead of the Rocket Coaster by Intamin. I'm so stupid at this moment.

When you say "must have two launches" and "must have 3 inversions" do you mean it must have at least two launches and at least 3 inversions or is it strictly set at 3?
