Hello! I am new to No Limits, and I was recording some of the coasters for my kids... As soon as I hit the 0 button to record... a banner goes up at the top saying "nolimitscoasters.com". Is there anyway to disable that when I am recording?

You could crop it out with video-editing software, but basically it is there to stay.

But IMO it should stay there. The more vids uploaded to youtube, the more people who will go out and buy NL, and if Ole has more funds, he might finish NL2 (sooner).

You could record with FRAPS or some other 3rd party tool, but these will record at the framerate you see on screen (which will drastically reduce when running the recording software in the background). The built in recorder will come out much cleaner are it will record at the speed you select...Even if it's choppy while recording it will render at the full selected framerate thus you'll have a much higher quality video.

The framerates with FRAPS will be OK if you're graphics card is fairly decent, for the most part. It partially depends on the resolution and detail levels you want to set but FRAPS always gives you the best video quality, period.

Uh, NL exports uncompressed AVI files at whatever resolution you have the sim at and at high framerate. How is FRAPS better than that?

I have seen some recordings where the banner was removed, I do not feel that should be done as the creator of the software should receive due credit. After all, the ride was made using someone else's software.

I wouldn't think it would actually bother anybody that much. BTW, FRAPS has a banner too.
