Nah, that puzzle was actually written wrong so I edited it with a different one .... sorry. Blame it on Satin.

Edit: You are right next to a river and have a 5 gallon container and a 3 gallon container. You need to measure out 1 gallon of water. How do you do it?

Easy, fill the 5 gallon up, then take the 5 gallon jar full of water and fill the 3 gallon one up. Then empty the 3 gallon one out and then take half of the water of the 5 gal container and put it into the 3 gallon container and you'll end up with 1 gallon in each container.

Riddle: What makes ckmwm's tick?

I guess that could work. I had this:

You fill up the 3 gallon container and pour the 3 gallons into the 5 gallon container. You fill the 3 gallon container back up, and pour it into the 5 gallon container. Thus, you will fill up the five gallon container and have 1 gallon left in the three gallon container.

No idea on your answer, sarcasm and all.

Oh my god this thread makes me laugh, well to get this thread going again heres just a little teaser riddle (I know its not my turn.)

Johnny has a pale that can hold 3 1/4 gallons of water, its filled to the top and Jill comes along and tips the pale, and the water rolls slightly to the left on a windy day, but the wind is blowing hard right, how is this possible...

(I actually have an answer to this one...and I made it up in like a minute!)
