Simple thought to ponder. IF, at the end of my life, I have lived by this faith and through that belief system it has caused me to be a better person, to respect my fellow man, and to generally be more of a humanitarian to others and I am wrong about Qwerty's Word, then at the end what will I have l...

I am the first prophet of Qwerty, he has only now been revealed. Of course you would not expect thousands to be aware of him. Qwerty has told me that we will revolt and make Febtober 32 a global holiday. If its a numbers game, and all you need is thousands, there are a whole bunch I can give you. Is...

Indeed, the truth lives on. Qwerty! If only he was not illiterate, than so many books would have been written about him. I have written my own tribute to him, allow me to quote some verses from my tribute: The fool says in his heart, ?????????There is no Qwerty????????? (Qwerty 14:1) If anyone's nam...

He calls us fools nearly every post, and complains when I once call him childish for using his beliefs as an intellectual security blanket. He claims Paul is well documented (among non-religious historians as well), but offered no historical evidence, only the bible. He linked a site which regards p...

Can you at least acknowledge that your claims on evolution are a load, and you refuse to accept it not because the evidence suggests that, but your faith does?

Homo sapiens are apes. Not everything fossilizes. Fossilization is a rare event; very rare. In any given population, only a small small portion will fossilize. At the species level, not that many fossils are found, but at the genus level, there is an abundance. For example, in the Genus Australopith...

On expert, the game is not a breeze, but it is not too difficult. With no life and a week of practice, you can start getting 100% on a lot of songs. It takes years of serious discipline to get really good at guitar. Try playing a solo by Kirk Hammet at half the speed he does on guitar, its tough.

I am not claiming that gods do not exist. You do believe that gods exist, you have probably heard of the burden of proof if you have been proselytizing. As an example, if I believe in the invisible pink unicorn, should I ask you to provide evidence it does not exist? Of course not. I am the one maki...

I am not close minded. To not read it would be close minded, to say you are a fool for not accepting and being part of my position would be close minded. I am a man of science, and science dictates having an open mind.

I am just reading the quotes they cite on bible gateway, and checking the validity of them. So far none have cited any historical evidence of the prophecies, so none of theme are any good. Each prophecy is made and fulfilled in the bible, so they can not be used to justify the bible. But there are 2...

Finally, you link something at least moderately justifiable. The first prophecy mentioned is Daniel 9:25-26, it makes a prophecy on something which happens in the new testament. This is no different then saying the prophecy in Harry Potter about how he will fight Voldemort, which came true, proves t...

Instead of responding to arguments or thinking rationally, you call everyone that does not accept your position foolish. You have your own intellectual s...

Because we believe what we believe, our belief is not in vain? Personal anecdotes prove nothing. After finding rationality, I read and discarded the bible, as well as my belief in Santa Claus. Even most toddlers are able to see through the fiction in it. After finding rationality, I dedicated my lif...

"Some of the logic on this topic is baffling me. You're using a book which was clearly intended to be written as fiction, Harry Potter, to one that was intended to be written as non-fiction." With the amount of objectively verifiable evidence given, Harry Potter is just as likely of existing as Jesu...

So you can accept that there is no objectively verifiable evidence to support your religion. If not accepting an ancient text because it has no objectively verifiable evidence to support its outrageous claims is foolish, then shoot me.

If that scenario ever comes up, and a god asks me why I didn't believe in it, I will just say, "Sorry god, not enough evidence."

Keep in mind Tcon, you WERE told about Allah. You WERE told about Qwerty. You WERE told about Vishnu. Are you really prepared to take that risk? Well ... are you?
