Whoa, 200 BPM! Our marching band is kind of in the middle. We generally don't do well at BOA-type competitions because we prefer to let our brass play out (BOA usually likes "full band sound" - i.e., brasses don't play over the clarinets). We do consider ourselves a competitive band, though. Last ye...

I'll try to ignore MOP's comments about trumpet <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";-)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) --> I play trumpet too, just finished my second band camp (it was rough too, I had orchestra camp for 3 1/2 days before that, so my lips were wrecked). individual...

38801xlr8, I have two similar stories. First, when I was probably four, I took a running bound out of our back sliding glass door. The door was open, but I managed to destroy the screen. Then when I was nine or ten, I was at a thanksgiving party at my grandpa's cabin, and he apparently did too good ...

I'm kinda small for my age so when I rode the Steel Eel in Sea World San Antonio, I had at least two inches under the lap bar with it all the way down. So in the part in the end where it goes up and down pretty quickly, I was flying wildly.[:)]

It sounds like a heat problem. First thing to try is run your box with the side panel open. If that helps, check the fans or the heat sink (you might need to either add a fan, replace a fan, or even invest in a cooling system). Processors like shutting the whole thing down when they're under heat <!...

Aterlatus wrote: I'd recommend against that .reg file suggestion to be honest. If you've noticed that windows gradually gets slower over time, one of the reasons is the registry getting bloated (along with the windows directory itself, with all those lovely custom DLLs that programs like to install)...

.nltrack File Association

Is there any way to associate .nltrack files with the Simulator so the track opens immediately (like pressing the "RIDE" button in the Editor?). This does NOT work:
"E:\Program Files\NoLimits Coasters v1.262\NoLimitsSimulator.exe" "%1"

I keep a backup of the install file on a second hard drive and I exported the NL key, so I just need to merge that little .reg file if I lose my key.

How about this (don't mind me, this is probably very crazy): Extend the under-rail wheels, say a foot or two, and put a mag-lev rigging under the trains, so it "floats" off the track in a certain part, then gets set down again. It would give the illusion of flying, even though everything is controll...

Yeah, once I bashed my face on the pads on Deja Vu at SFMM w/ braces. Didn't really hurt for that long (and besides my adrenaline was higher than my red cell count at that time [:D] ) And like RCT said, callouses.

This is why it's generally a good idea, in my opinion, to have too many brake blocks and either to slant them or (if needed) add friction wheels so everything will still make the circuit.

Matt, here in America, there are four classes in high school: 9th (Freshman), 10th (Sophomore), 11th (Junior), and 12th (Senior). 9th is usually about 14-15 year olds, 10th 15-16, 11th 16-17, and 12th 17-18. Now that coaster indavidual has passed Junior year, he's a Senior. Get it?

[NL] Matchstick (rating request)

Could I get some ratings on my first posted woodie? I posted this about a week ago, got one short-lived rating, then I spent a bunch of time tightening it up, speeding it up, ironing it out, so this is version 2.0. Thank you.[;)] CoasterCrazy: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.coastercr...

Has anyone tried updating video drivers? This sounds like the kind of thing a screwed up driver would cause. Or how about running the editor in software mode? I don't know how NL's editor runs, but I assume it uses OpenGL which some companies (ahem, ATI) don't run very well. This is just an idea.
