Oopsies... my bad.... gmax cannot EXPORT 3ds... it can import. you might be able to find a plugin for it, like I use the Chimp plugin to export to JMS... anyway, it's definitely worth looking into... URL.... www.turbosquid.com/gmax it's really powerful software, actually... Anyway, look for a 3ds ex...

tell you what.... if you don't want to run into this problem EVER again, and you can deal with having a *.3DS file.... go download a program called gmax. it's free, and it's basically a version of 3DS Max for people who can't afford to buy the real thing (no offense intended - I use it lol) Anyway, ...

I dunno - it could be technically perfect, but from the pic, it's AWFUL ...

VERY nice!!! I love how compact it is for such a large coaster!! Only thing... is that break segment the MCBR?? It's a little late in the ride - lol... more like a Kind-of-toward-the-end-CBR - lol. Can't wait to see how it does on the exchange!!

Hmmm - from that pic of the loop, and your other pic where the track passes between the lift and the drop.... I think you're cutting it too close - people are going to whack their little arms on stuff... does it pass tunnel test? that's the biggie... *EDIT* Ooopsies - optical illusion - disregard wh...

This might be caused if you have something that's consuming a lot of processor time or memory space. Check and see if you have any Terminate-Stay Resident (TSR) programs set to start with windows... you might also try opening msconfig and killing anything you don't need in the startup tab. how many ...

I wouldn't call beast disappointing! Anyway - I like the lateral supports, but at times they look a little boxy... maybe some more cathedral-like supports? This would also improve the track participation in the support structure - more supports = more headchops <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/i...

How's it behave at the top of that loop?? I'd be a little worried as a rider about being stuck up there or not making it all the way over... Interesting drop tho!

Smer - it really depends on what you're looking for - there's nothing a fan-cooled processor can't do that a liquid-cooled one can. I don't trust liquid cooled. Spend a little money upgrading to quiter fans and save yourself the worry of having a liquid system fail. Personally, even if you're lookin...

At the moment, liquid cooled processors aren't really practical - Fans work fine unless you're specifically lookinig for a silent system. I believe ASUS makes several very high quality liquid-cooled systems, but I have my doubts about the integrity of the liquid resiviors - I'll stick with fans unti...

Hey - I really like the support work - looks very nice, but I have one suggestion - where you have those really steep bankings and there's no rail, see about putting some sort of reinforcement on the ties so it's not sticking up in the air without a railing - there would be something connecting the ...

Yes, I know they can, but HOW is what I'm getting at... for example, I usually make a complete turn in 3 segments. Level to bank, curve, bank to level. End of story. Either you get that curve right or you don't.... I can't seem to get the elements that appear in my brain to come out in my coasters. ...

Hand Building Problems....

I usually hand build all my elements [:O] but occasionally I run into some problems. For example, I can't seem to get the node smoother to work properly with my tracks. It makes the bumps worse. I know a lot of people are into the new tools like Elementary and Purgatorium to assist them with their c...

Are there any changes in the actual physics calculations?? Because I loaded a 1.6 track (the Project Argon one) with NL 1.55 and I had a rollback on one of the hills that I'm sure doesn't show up for anyone using NL 1.6... I'm hesitant to rate coasters that are built with 1.6 if this is a common pro...
