Shady pines is a small town in New Hampshire with a sordid past involving several incidents at a retirement home. Eventually the home burned down in a horrific accident. The old mayor was rumored to be involved and immediately resigned. That was years ago. Most people had forgotten its shady past, but the remaining residents were eager to revitalize the town, so they built a small theme park with moderate success. Later, this park was bought by a large management company who decided to build an enormous coaster to boost interest and sales. Now going to "Shady Pines" is no longer a bad thing....
