Ugh, i've gotta finish my schoolwork before I can work on this ride anymore, i've got the track, and I just need to support and "object" at this point, this sucks.

You were saying that we might have an extension?
"Don't be a disability"... yep, still keeping that. :P

Yes, if fewer than 12 people get their tracks in by the deadline, I will extend it by two weeks.

How come everything I make comes out looking either too hand built or too newtoned?!?! starting over for hopefully the last time now...

Edit: Screw everything, I'm building this;

Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Make sure you don't use a non-inverting loop. Steel coasters need to have at least one inversion.

Doesn't that go far enough upside down? It looks like it it should count as an inversion before it starts to straighten out.

Too bad about that inversion rule. I originally wanted to build a butterfly coaster for the contest... [lol]

When you say "the station cannot exceed 10 feet from the edges of the template" do you mean all of the track in the station must be within 10 feet of the edge?

Most likely it will count. All of the track VERTICES must be within 10 feet of the edge.

Isn't the rule usually "banked more that 155 degrees"?

Here's the deal, on the e-stop the car rolls back but is stopped at a breakrun but unable to relaunch. Is this a pass?

All right people, you have 1 WEEK to finish and upload your tracks. If any of your tracks are finished, this is a good time to upload!

@slosprint: Your ride passes. In the event of an e-stop it could be necessary to pull the train down the rest of the track, but if trains don't collide it's fine.

I'm having difficulty with my object textures. Some of them don't show in the simulator even though they are reference properly.

@haddock: What do you mean you're having trouble uploading? What type of file is it?

@Sauron: hmm... If you can't get it fixed before the deadline, I'll try my best to mentally fill in the textures.

I think I know what the problem is, but I'm unable to solve it at the moment. In my objects folder, certain texture files are jpeg's, yet I can't find the jpeg's for the remaining textures. In the Materials folder under Sketchup, it only lists .skm files.

Isn't that the message of a trackname that's too long? Try a shorter trackname. [;)]

Mine's now a super rough volarey stingray thing. Very disorientating though.
