between editor and editor software mode? i just started fresh on my comp and i just realized this.. is one different?

Software mode uses your computers processor only to compute the data. Not using 3d software to render it makes it VERY stable but also much slower if your machine isnt capable of crunching numbers that quickly.

The standard mode utitlizes your 3d card and its instructions which normally take the load off your processor.


Normally if you are having driver issues using software mode will work untill they are resolved.

thanks... i found that it works better in standard mode...
