It's still vastly better than the alternatives. Even still it appears that Frontier is going hard with it so I'm not worried.

What would you say is wrong with it? I'm looking at it as an expansion pack to RCT3 and still excited if it's just that.

I haven't played the new beta yet as I just finished setting up my new PC unfortunately so I cannot say.

Management is awful. No syncing of prices, staff quit if they are slightly too busy or slightly too bored, or haven't had a pay raise recently, things are very buggy (height marks in construction, g force calculations, frixtion). It's far worse to play than RCT3

The building mechanics are really good, the rides are good for now. Management is something they were working on actively I believe

Yeah, but it's clear that it is t there. The game needs at least 3-6 mo the just to get a point where everything works, never mind polished and balanced

With the level of effort and enthusiasm from their dev team I'm truly not worried. Not to mention I'm a huge Elite: Dangerous fan which Frontier also makes. They have been very very good with updates, optimizations, and improvements.

It may not be "The best" upon release but they are being forced to cut short due to the stupidly incomplete and awful rctw going "WE GUN B FRST 2 MARKIT! HUR". First to market slaps them but in the long run will not effect them.. But immediate sales will be a huge boost for them and that will probably be a source of improvement.

You're funny. Planet Coaster might well be a bad game in your opinion but comparing it to NMS is hilarious.

The developers actually listen to the community and search forums for desirable features. Also not radio silent lol

Guess they backtracked on the 7PM release lol. Downloading now. Too bad I work in less than 2 hours.

I spent about 4 hours yesterday getting crafty with the coaster builder. It can be surprisingly detailed if you know what you're doing! I managed to fully recreate Intamin Woodie shaping as well as feel in about 30 minutes.

Too bad the g-forces are calculated totally incorrectly.

The G Forces seem much lighter than real life. I'm okay with that though especially after RCT dropping 200ft to a tiny radius pull up and only hitting 3.8 G's. It's a balancing feature of the game. It would be AWESOME if you could change it among other settings on a realism scale or something.

The problem is they forgot to add in the earth's gravity.

Sitting still in a station? 0g vertical, 0 lateral
On the lift? 0g vertical, 0 lateral
Straight flat track banked 90 degrees? 0g vert, 0g, lateral.

That's a joke right? What complaint could they have possibly given?

They should only be allowed to complain about the coaster being built too far away from them.

Nothing wrong for GPs... However those stats are 'big' flaws for us!

Just gotta say it takes balls to charge 24 dollars for a car ride in the second scenario.
