Xinput not installed

I can't play some of the parks I download. I am using my windows 8 64 bit but get the error message "xinput not installed", and "unsupported file format" when I try to open the park. The park format is nl2pkg. Please help. Surely I can't be the only one this has happened to.

the xinput is merely if you were to use a joystick or something other than a computer keyboard, i get that message too sometimes but nothing happens with me. i don't know why it says something about the file format though, maybe if you're still running the demo version of nl2? im not entirely sure what is going on there
