Hey everyone, So I made a unique Intamin Accelerator called Drag Strip. I named it Drag Strip because of the first launch, similar to a drag car accelerating, and it very skinny and long like a drag strip.
I wasn't really sure if I should call it a Blitz coaster or an Accelerator, so you can correct me in the comment section if you want.
Make sure to rate honestly! I am a little bit of a beginner, I have had the game for a while, but I'm really just experimenting with coaster layouts right now and this is the first major coaster I've made with custom made supports instead of all prefabs. There are prefabs in a few places, but about 80-90% of the ride has custom supports.
Edit: I'm so sorry, I did the upload wrong. I accidentally chose the screenshot instead of the ride itself! I will get the new track up now.
So I'll first share my first reaction: WOW, WHAT WAS THAT? The ride was really good in my opinion! The trackwork was a bit shaky at some turns but that isn't a huge issue for me. I liked the changes of the colours and also that it kept going. There were only a few moments that it lost some speed and that were the inversions and the last turn. The brakerun wasn't too realistic, it was a bit short. Maybe you could make it longer, it will improve the realism! The area surrounding the coaster looks good. I like the front plaza with the testseat. I recommend to change the track setting of testseat to a storage, that will prevent that game from giving a deadlock situation message. Overall: A great coaster in a nice looking area!
Tech: Track was fairly smooth, just a few minor bumps. Nice color scheme and layout. Good custom supports. Adren: Good adrenaline here. fast and well paced. Uniq: The layout was an extension of a lot of coasters of this type but seemed pretty unique. Real: Coaster looks ralistic and could probably do well at a real amusement park. Ride: This ride is fast and exciting and would be a good repeat ride.
