Last night I had a strange problem shortly after buying the "custom avatar" in the point store. I made an avatar for this fine site, put in on photobucket, and copied in the address. I ascertained that the site was correctly loading my new avatar in the forum with no problems. However, shortly thereafter I edited my profile to change my signature (to include a new picture akin to my new avatar). I previewed the new sig, saw that it worked, and clicked submit. When I went back to the forum, my new sig worked fine but my avatar was a broken link. Confused, I went back to my profile and saw that "no avatar" was selected from the list. I tried to find an option to replace my new avatar, but could not get it to work. This is pretty much where I stand now.

I do not believe I clicked anywhere on the avatar list, and am slightly confused. Is there a way to get a previous custom avatar without buying the "custom avatar" again? This may be difficult as I am currently lacking the points. Is any refund possible? Any knowledgeable response would be appreciated.

[confused] That seems tremendously silly, and does not make much sense. Ah well, that's the internet for you...

Anyone want to give me some points?[/jk].

Hoorah, thanks. You (admins in general) may wish to look into the avatar thing (unless as Hepta says there really is no way around it).

But thank you all the same.
