OK, this is kinda sad (the circumstances that unfold) ... but you gotta admit, this guy is either blined by love or TOTALLY clueless.

yeah t.j. i saw this .. i had a real real hard time believing it was real..... bit i've been around, and with my experience with people of other cultures when i was in the navy (i don't mean in foreign lands, i mean within ours) i believe it.. i mean.. look at her.. there is a stereotype .. and uh.. welll she kinda fits it... and the guy.. well they say beauty is only skin deep, but my best guess is that in a drunken attempt to impress his freinds by losing his virginity he hooked up with this woman out of desparation. the rest is pretty obvious. he probabaly married her because he thought he knocked her up (guys should check this stuff out first) besides, he's probabaly more shocked that she could get laid elsewhere. .. the sad part is that he loves that kid soooo much, and has been looking after him, and even though by all rights he can kick that monster to the curb, by rights he's that kid's dad, not geneticaly, but still.. man that sucks.. he's an idiot, a complete usda grade a choice idiot, but he doesn't deserve this.

maybe idiot is too harsh. i mean, i feel for him. he was taught to trust and be trusted , most likely, and this woman screwed up his simple view of life.. he had a child, never once questioned his origin. you can tell that he's from a community where he'd be sure to encounter SOMEONE if not several peple on a daily basis that would say..um.. er, umm.. dude.. uh.. are you sure that's your seed? but he kept his vow to honor the vow of his wife.. i mean that's it right? i just went to a wedding last week, and what i noticed was that while the rabbi was giving the vows, part of the wholoe scenario was that part of that vow was to respect the vow of the other and not to question it, and in good faith this guy didn't. .. unless this thing was fake i gota say that in a way this guys's one hell of a man to be so honest in his own way that he'd never, no matter what , question his relationship with his wife's child.. it sucks that the good guy loses all the time, not because he's a loser, but because he's nice.

Two white folks produce a black baby? Nope -- sorry -- that is like a 5th grade knowledge there. It ought to have been self-evident that he is not the Dad. I'd have went off in the delivery room, not on the Maury Povich show!!

Actually if there was a black relative in the family earlier on, it is possible. Your traits are determined by the combination of your two families (mother's and father's), NOT just your parent's traits. Didn't you people ever learn about the dominant and reccessive gene's in biology? For example, my brother, mother and father all have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, but I have dirty blond hair and blue eyes. Adopted? Nope, I look exactly like my grandfather from my mother's side, with personality traits similiar of my father. It is possible, but only if past generations have had traces of "black" skin within their genes.

However something like this is highly unlikely and if I were the father of a different colored baby (if me and my spouse were identical skin color wise), I would certainly question it. I wouldn't want something like this to happen where the child grew up and then I became attached to it, I'd rather break off the marriage earlier than later and save life.

One thing is to be nice and accepting of what has happened ( meaning the fault is acknowledged ) and another is to be plain stupid like this guy has been.
